My fiance and I come here all the time for the BEST breakfast buffet and Seafood buffet. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are always available on the menu at any time! Love it! Very family friendly and my kids also enjoy! All the staff are very nice, even the chef who comes out to refill the buffet and makes sure the food quality is good. Waitresses are always friendly and attentive. Dining areas and bathrooms are always clean when we go! This is our favorite spot and will always come here.

Great restaurant good food. Phenomenal buffet if you’re staying at Higgins Lake or Houghton Lake, this is a must stop at before or after the lake.

If you are ever in Houghton Lake, you must stop at Randy's Family Restaurant. They have a great dinner buffet, as well as able to order off the menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Today I had their sausage gravy and biscuits deluxe. It was loaded with great tasting sausage gravy, and the biscuits were nice and light, and then it was topped with cheese, and two eggs any way you want cooked. I had the eggs sunny side up, and they were cooked perfectly! The staff is very nice and friendly as well. This is one of the better restaurants in Houghton Lake. Make a point to stop and enjoy some very good food!

Was up for the weekend and came across the restaurant for breakfast. Very enjoyable, clean and lots of options for the buffet. She even mentioned they do not put eggs out in until requested. Servers were attentive, got a down home kind of vibe. Will definitely be back again!

We had a brunch at Randy's restaurant while visiting family up north by the lake, and let me tell you, it was an absolute delight! The staff and waitress welcomed us with warm smiles and even warmer coffee. We dove into the extensive menu and were blown away by the hearty breakfast options. Every dish was packed with flavor and executed to perfection. The food arrived at the right temperature, and the portions were incredibly generous. The quality of the ingredients shone through in every bite. A truly top-notch dining experience that left us thoroughly impressed. Well done, Randy's! Keep up the fantastic work!

Awesome experience. Fast friendly staff and service. Lots to choose from. Excellent salad bar with many options. Food came out and was hot ( or cold ice cream). Busy place. I saw a lot of smiling faces and relaxed customers. Local hangout and also big with ALL ages. Will be back.

Was told by a friend down state about this place. Girlfriend and I wanted to try this place on our way up to U.P. called for a take out order. Drove from our Super 8 motel 10 miles away to pick it up. I ordered my perch dinner with fries & corn and she ordered a BLT with fries. Perch was 2 big huge pieces of fish that was delicious that filled me right up and barely had a fry lol. She loved her BLT and said it was delicious. Will be back thank you.

I wish I would have taken pictures now, but we were too busy devouring the amazing food! The staff were all so friendly and attentive. I have to also say, the mussels were delicious. I have never had such savory mussels on a buffet! Everything we had was perfectly seasoned and prepared. We will definitely return to this slightly hidden gem!
